Organic product. Wild shiitakes grew in Taiwan, Fujian (China), Korea and Japan. The latter is named after “take” which means mushroom and “shii” which refers to the tree on which it usually grows, the castanopsis cuspidata which is a variety of the Oak. It is a fungus with more fiber than the rest of cultivated mushrooms, it contains chitin that helps to eliminate fats and cholesterol in the intestine. It has multiple benefits for our immune system, it also helps reduce blood fat levels and it has antibiotic, antiviral and antithrombotic effects.
